I must not have enough to do with my time, because over the past year, I’ve found myself revisiting my entire photo catalog, re-editing many of my images to better align with my current style. As if that weren’t enough to keep me busy, I also decided it was time to update my website. This meant moving to a new hosting platform and re-uploading all my photos. Along the way, I took a more intentional approach, carefully curating the images that would make it onto the site, trying to showcase only those I felt were truly worth sharing. Of course, I’m a bit biased when it comes to my own work. Even if a photo isn't technically perfect, I can’t help but be attached to the memories behind it. There are a few photos I love not because they’re masterpieces, but because the story behind them is unforgettable. It's tough to separate the two sometimes.
Still, I’ve done my best to pare down my collection and share the images that truly stand out. After thirteen years of wildlife photography, there were more than a few I wanted to include, even if that meant a larger selection than I’d originally planned. One downside to this website update is that I wasn’t able to transfer my old blog posts, so I’ll be starting fresh here. My goal is to post more regularly and share some of the stories behind the photos. After all, a photo isn’t just an image—it’s the culmination of countless moments, decisions, and experiences that led to that one fleeting snapshot.
As always, thank you to everyone who takes the time to read these posts and engage with my work. Your support means the world to me, and I’m excited to continue sharing this journey with you.
